I am filing this complaint regarding my extremely unprofessional and misleading experience at Big Brand Tire & Service in San Bernardino involving the manager, Marlyn. At approximately 9:00 a.m., I called ahead and specifically explained the service I needed: I already had my own used tire and simply needed it placed onto a rim and mounted back onto my Hyundai SUV. I was quoted approximately $26 and was told the shop was not busy and that if I came in immediately, they could take me right away. I also clearly explained that I was on my lunch break and coming specifically because I was told the service could be done quickly. After arriving, I was checked in and then left waiting approximately 40–45 minutes before suddenly being told they “could not” do the service because my tire was used and “against policy.” Marlyn repeatedly claimed he could “get fired” or “get in trouble.” If this was truly company policy, then why was I quoted a price over the phone and told to come in immediately? That information should have been disclosed BEFORE wasting my time and having me sit there for nearly an hour. What made this experience even worse was the fact that immediately after refusing the

Discovered this company a bout a year ago when I picked up a large bolt in my tire. I drove in and they fixed it immediately. Then i had a different tire on my car fail unexpectedly and because I knew them I took it in and they located the exact tire and fixed it cheaper than 4 other shops (I checked around). Then I had an issue with alignment and had to get all 4 replaced. (Roads are terrible here...) All said and done I never had an appointment and they were very accommodating and budget friendly. I trust them and glad to be able to use them.

I had a great experience at Big Brand Tire & Service. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and made the whole process smooth from start to finish. What really stood out to me is that they were able to confidently work on my Tesla Cybertruck, which is honestly rare right now. A lot of shops aren’t familiar or equipped to handle these yet, but these guys knew exactly what they were doing. No issues, no hassle, just solid service and great people. If you’ve got a Cybertruck (or any Tesla vehicle really), this is a place you can trust. Highly recommend!

I was a first time customer here, and as a woman AND a first time customer, I have to be careful of trusting what I’m told etc. I went in for a singular “knock” sound coming from either my tires or brake area, and wanted a diagnostic test (which they provide for free). Turns out I needed new brake pads, rotors, and struts. It was a very unexpected amount of money I was going to be spending, I had no choice, I have to have a safe and reliable vehicle like we all do. I accepted my quote but internally was freaking out because my wedding is in 5 months and financially we are SPENDING for it and our honeymoon at this point in the process. I called another place after receiving my quote to see about possibly any difference in quote and was quoted almost the same price, which told me one, I was not being taken advantage of on the price and could trust what I was being told, and two, I might as well stick with where I was rather than having my car removed from the lift and tires put back on so I could go elsewhere. I gave a five because I Needed some brake caliber covers put on my Kia Sorrento; Every tire and brake shop pretty much gave me the runaround or just flat out. Turn me down big brand welcomed me with open arms, and since I had the parts it was only right that they just charged me for the labor $188. Yes, I would recommend them to a friend. Went back to get 4 new tires as well.
